Privacy policy

What we keep

• What you type and the requirements we read from it: 90 days, to improve matching and stop abuse. Then deleted.
• The recommendations you saw and opened, and your Fits me / Doesn’t fit answers: each record for 12 months. After that we keep only daily totals.
• A random anonymous ID stored in your browser, of which we keep only a hash. It links one browser’s records together. If you clear your browser data, those records can no longer be linked to you.
• Your email, only if you turn on Notify me. It’s deleted when you unsubscribe.
• To stop abuse we count requests by a one-way hash of your network address, kept for a day at most.

What we don’t do

• No ad trackers and no fingerprinting. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies.
• What you type is never published.
• We never sell or share personal information: not what you typed, not any one visitor’s records, not IDs, not emails.

Aggregated statistics

• We may share aggregated demand statistics with others, such as how many people look for a kind of software and which requirements go unmet most often. They never include what anyone typed, and every figure comes from at least 10 different people.

Who processes your data

• The site runs on Cloudflare. Data is stored with Supabase in Singapore. What you type is read by Alibaba Cloud Model Studio’s Qwen model in Singapore, only to find the kind of software and the requirements you asked for.

Your rights

To get a copy of your data, delete it, or unsubscribe from emails, write to privacy@appfitsme.com. We reply within 30 days.
